August 22nd: Iran - I’ll be taking a deeper look at contemporary Iranian history through the lens of Blackness.
There will be two wildcard episodes in August. Sometimes those discussions are random, but for August’s wildcards, I have chosen specific themes. On August 8th’s live, I’ll be reviewing the recently released Salt Bones by Jennifer Givhan. I’ll be posting my thoughts on the book as I read using Substack notes, so feel free to join the ongoing discussion with me there! The second wildcard episode will air on August 29th and will be all about Love Island USA.
