KF MHz 41: Killer Frequency companion post
Tune in here, Hunters!
Killer Frequency Companion Post
As we approach Valentine’s Day, this live is a reminder that love is not solely romantic; it’s communal.
In this episode of Killer Frequency, called “Networks of Care: Ordinary People, Extraordinary Support,” we consider ordinary people as architects of extraordinary systems of solidarity and survival with an expert in the field, social work scholar Craig Mortley. This is a conversation for anyone thinking seriously about community and how to show up for others.
As institutions continue to fail or fall short, communities—particularly diasporic and marginalized ones—have long relied on informal, relational networks to meet material and emotional needs. This episode offers real-world insight into how these systems function and where they need care themselves.
Thank you Nicole Little-john, for making this interview possible! Next week, on February 20th, I’ll be back live, so if you’ve been missing that experience, mark your calendars.
